 Since its launch in 1985, Emirates Airline has received more than 300 international awards in recognition of its efforts to provide unsurpassed levels of customer service.
Based in Dubai, Emirates commenced services to Australia in June 1996, starting with services into Melbourne via Singapore.
Today, Emirates is not only one of the fastest growing airlines in the world, but an Australian aviation success story, connecting Sydney, Perth, Melbourne and Brisbane to more than 87 destinations in 58 countries on the Emirates network.
From Sydney, the airline operates 14 flights per week to Dubai – a daily non-stop service as well as an additional seven flights per week via Bangkok.
From Melbourne, a double-daily service is operated with 14 flights per week to Dubai – a daily non-stop service between Dubai and Melbourne and a second service via Singapore.
The airline also operates twice daily non-stop services between Perth and Dubai, and a daily service from Brisbane to Dubai via Singapore.
Emirates boasts an enviable Trans-Tasman service, with 28 weekly flights into New Zealand - daily into Christchurch from Sydney and thrice daily into Auckland from Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
 For First and Business Class passengers and Skywards Gold members, Emirates now has dedicated lounges Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth international airports.
Emirates Kids Pack
One of the most exciting moments for a child embarking on an overseas holiday is when they are handed their kids’ pack on board the plane. Emirates new bumper goodie bag is sure to make flying fun, with plenty of activities to while away the long hours in the air.
The new toys come in one of two must-have bags – either a colourful rucksack, or a cool bag that comes in five different colour combinations. Inside is a snack box, an activity and story magazine, a pocket-sized Dr Suess book, coloured pencils, and an eyemask in case they want some shut-eye.
Best of all, however, is a new soft toy exclusive to Emirates – called a Querk. The Querk is an animal that loves to travel and can take on the guise of various animals from all around the world. This lovable character comes in a soft fabric bag with one of five costumes: Salaam the Lion, Yorkie the Eagle, Sydney the Koala, Paris the Rabbit or Delhi the Elephant. Kids will have a ball dressing up the Querk and will be eager to collect the whole set.
