 This was a highly anticipated event in our family, we were off to Club Med, Lindeman Island. We had done a lot of research in preparation for this particular holiday and discussed many different resorts, islands etc... We chose Club Med because of it's reputation and inclusions. We were not dissapointed. It is a very family-friendly place. It was a true holiday for us as a family, but also for us as an adult couple and our children separately, something I think all parents of young children need sometimes. From the time we sat down at breakfast we were all comfortable. There was a high level of flexibility with the children in Mini Club which was terrific. It had all the usual offerings of many of these resorts but, in our opinion, there was a personal interaction that you don't get with the staff at other resorts that we experienced here. It also encouraged us to interact with other guests and we have made some great friends as a result.
The kids loved the variety of activities including circus school and trapeze. Our just turned 6 year old fell in love with archery and both adored the staff. We liked being able to drop the children off at any time during the day and either leave them for the day or pick them up when it suited, knowing that they were happy to go and were having a great holiday as well. We felt very safe in leaving them in the care of the staff that ran the Mini Club as it is very professional.
The food was terrific. I have one great eater and one fussy eater and both had very balanced and filling meals at every sitting. We were amazed at the quality, quantity and variety of foods that were on offer. Every day in both the food and activity department there was something different to offer if you wanted it. We are not big drinkers but it was nice to have the wine/beer included in your package as it can often be a costly addition at the completion of your holiday that you had miscalculated or not foreseen. It was a fantastic place for the family and we will be going to another Club Med in the near future.
