Breakfast with a view

This activity takes you to the summit of the nature reserve to enjoy (you guessed it!) a breakfast with a view. Your experience begins at the Discovery Center, the entrance of the nature reserve, at about 5am. During your walk up, you may chance upon nocturnal Borneon wildlife – so remember to keep your eyes and ears peeled. The hike takes about 30 minutes, just in time for you to enjoy a light breakfast and watch the sun rise over Mt. Kinabalu, a UNESCO World Heritage-listed site and the highest point between the Himalayas and New Guinea. Your descent down is equally exciting as you journey down through the canopy walkway.

Ranger experience

Sign the little ones up for a morning with the Rasa Ria Rangers. This program is designed for kids to learn about the wildlife of Borneo in a fun and interactive way. Younger guests will help prepare the food for the animals and take the treats to feeding spots located along the trails in the nature reserve. Afterwards, little rangers go for an adventure to the canopy walkway and walk across the suspension bridge for a sweeping view of the beach and sea. Each participant will get a shirt, hat and silicone water bottle to take home with them as a souvenir of their day as a Rasa Ria Junior Ranger.

Once the family is back together at the resort, the many ways to spend the day are endless; from hiring bicycles and enjoying the range of water sports to relaxing by the swimming pools and horseback riding.
