And the snowy season begins as all three SkiBig3 Resorts now open for the 2019/20 season
As the Northern Hemisphere creeps into winter, Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada has officially shot into the ski season and opened up their slopes to everyone craving some fresh powder.
Home to over 3,000 hectares of skiing, SkiBig3 is a favourite for families, with nearly 10 metres of Canadian Rockies powder falling annually. The area also has bragging rights for the longest non-glacial ski season in North America, with skilful skiers and spunky snowboarders able to hit the slopes from early November all the way through to May.
With a week of intermittent snowfall and more in the forecast, the mountain resorts in Banff National Park are experiencing a positive start to the 2019/20 ski season.
What terrain is currently open?
