Dreaming of a coastal escape? Somewhere with unspoilt beaches, captivating walks and maybe a spot of fishing? It’s time for a road trip to the Coffs Coast.
The Coffs Coast region extends from Nambucca in the south to Red Rock in the north. It’s about halfway between Sydney and Brisbane on the east coast of Australia.
In Coffs Harbour, the mountains of the Great Diving Range come incredibly close to the sea. Head west and you will find pockets of rainforest, misty mountain valleys and cute hippie towns.
The coastline is packed with stunning beaches, cool estuaries and rugged headlands. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can walk from one end of the Coffs Coast to the other on the 60km The Solitary Islands Coastal Walk.
If you love diving, you’ll love Coffs Harbour. This is where the warm current from the tropics meets the cool current from the south. The result is an incredibly diverse range of animal and plant life.
