The best hotels with lazy rivers seriously up the ante on the old hotel pool.
Trust us, once you find a hotel with a lazy river, it’ll be a must-have on every holiday with kids.
A lazy river is classified as a water ride, but it is one of the most gentle and relaxing rides you’ll take in your life. Constructed to mirror the structure of a river, the man-made pool weaves and flows, carrying guests on rubber tubes and rings. Below, find the best hotels with lazy rivers from around the world.
1. Shangri-La Singapore
Nestled within six hectares of lush open gardens, just minutes from the hustle and bustle of Orchard Road, the Shangri-La Singapore is where legendary holidays in the Garden City begin.
The hotel’s lazy river is within the Splash waterpark which has six water play areas.
Firstly, cruise down the lazy river then there is a pirate ship for kids to shoot streams of water toward the ship’s attackers. After that, slippery slides, lounge chairs and a toddler pool await. At 1,300 square meters, the waterpark is the largest outdoor water playground and family pool in a luxury hotel.
