No-one knows more about Jackson Hole for families than someone who lives and breathes Jackson Hole. Meet Anna Cole.
In September, my husband Eric and I welcomed our baby girl to the world. Signe (pronounced Cig-knee) Jane Cole was born on 4 September 2019 at St John’s Hospital in Jackson, Wyoming.
Signe is an old Scandinavian name in our family. Eric’s family is Finnish and mine is Norwegian, so we are pretty sure this little one already has skiing in her blood, or so we hope.
Our 10-year-old German shorthaired pointer Maple May loves her new little sister but does get jealous at times. Eric and I met in Teton Village, while we were both working for the resort.
We love it here, and Jackson Hole has been Eric’s home for 20 years and mine for 15. We have the same story: we came out after college to ski bum for one year, and never left.
