JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa is set to open in Surfers Paradise on December 20 and their list of family-activities is simply awesome.

JW Marriott is part of Marriott International’s luxury portfolio of brands which consists of beautiful properties and distinctive resort locations around the world.

The Gold Coast hotel was formerly branded Surfers Paradise Marriott Resort & Spa. It has consistently ranked in the top 3 Australian resorts above 4 stars as rated by Holidays with Kids.

The property underwent a $35 million renovation and rebrand in 2020 to lift it to JW Marriot standards.

Earlier this week, the resort unveiled its Family by JW program. The resort’s list of creative, active, and cultural activities will be a huge hit with families.

Families who stay at JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa can learn the art of sushi-making at the resort’s signature Japanese restaurant, Misono, with renowned Head Chef Henry Bongay. They can also learn to make smoothies and fresh juice in the resort’s all-day dining restaurant, Citrique.
