Kryal Castle has become the home of a brand-new BIG4 Holiday Park. BIG4 Kryal Castle Holiday Park includes 57 powered campsites, 16 one-bedroom cabins and four two-story luxury loft tiny homes, each sleeping up to four. Along with all the fun on offer at Kryal Castle, from jousting tournaments and archery to Knight School and magical potions, the holiday park has plenty for families such as a games room with Xbox consoles and bean bags, a playground, and stunning loungestyle deck overlooking the Ballarat cityscape. Four-legged family members are also welcome to join in the holiday fun.

You can also turn your magical adventure into an overnight stay in one of the Castle Suites in Ballarat. Choose from King, Queen and Family Suites that will let you relax in the height of comfort after a spell-binding day. The accommodation is right into the heart of Kryal Castle. Castle Suites contain a split-system air-conditioner, bar fridge, toaster, kettle, microwave and free Wi-Fi. You’ll also be able to access to the Castle Grounds after-hours, including Braveheart’s Playground, The Forbidden Stone Maze and animal pens.

Journey through the chambers of the Dragons Labyrinth, which reveals the legend of Kryal; experience the drama of a medieval joust, as knights and their warhorses battle it out on the main arena; get lost in the maze; be enchanted by pantomimes; or learn the ancient art of archery.

Where is Kryal Castle?

Kryal Castle is located 15 minutes from Ballarat, just over an hours drive from Melbourne.

From Melbourne, take the Western Freeway which leads past the townships of Bacchus Marsh and Ballan to Ballarat. Set on the side of Mt Warrenheip, visitors can enjoy beautiful views over Ballarat and the surrounding countryside from the Castle grounds.
