The two-storey aqua playground has 65 interactive water features including mini slides and a colourful maze of water cannons. The kids will love the ‘Big Dripper’, a 600-litre bucket that takes six minutes to slowly fill before dumping a cascade of water-fuelled fun and laughter.
Just when you thought it couldn’t get better, North Star recently opened it’s brand new Super Slides, adding even more family fun at every twist and turn. Two eight-meter-high tubular water slides spiral more than 60 meters through a rainbow of technicolor light features, down to poolside landing platforms below.
All pools at North Star are seasonally heated and Sammy’s Adventure Lagoon is covered in a non-slip, ‘softfall’ ground covering.
As well as free tennis, games room, pool tables and outdoor playground, North Star has its own kids’ club, Neptunes. Fully-supervised and free, kids are welcome to join in the fun and games at this gigantic indoor centre during off-peak weekends and daily throughout the school holidays. This means parents will have time to seek out the Seascape Leisure Centre on site. The facility comprises a 25-metre lap pool, three temperature-controlled spas, sauna, gym, massage room and even a hairdressing salon.
Throughout the school holidays, North Star also offers themed activities for the kids, including trivia nights, outdoor cinemas, discos, parties, special guest entertainment and more. Check the website to find out what’s on during your stay.
