The multi-award-winning Tasman Holiday Parks – North Star at Hastings Point is an idyllic, family-friendly destination located on the beautiful Tweed Coast. It’s approximately 30 minutes south of the Gold Coast Airport and sits between the pristine Hastings Point beach, national parks and a tidal estuary. The two-storey aqua playground has 65 interactive water features, including mini slides and a colourful maze of water cannons. The kids will love ‘The Big Dripper’, a 600-litre bucket that takes six minutes to slowly fill before dumping a cascade of water-fuelled fun and laughter.

Just when you thought it couldn’t get better, North Star’s Super Slides add even more family fun at every twist and turn. Two eight-meter-high tubular water slides spiral more than 64 meters through a rainbow of technicolour light features down to poolside landing platforms below.

Come and explore the wonders of the Marine Discovery Centre. One of the largest privately funded marine education facilities in Australia. Its primary focus is teaching people how they can play a role in protecting and safeguarding our precious marine environment for future generations. The centre is a showcase of state-of-the-art light and sound technology. It is fitted with interactive digital terminals and world-class marine and coastal science displays.

As well as free tennis, games room, pool tables and outdoor playground, North Star has its own kids’ club, Neptunes. Fully-supervised and free, kids are welcome to join in the fun and games at this gigantic indoor centre during off-peak weekends and daily throughout the school holidays. This means parents will have time to seek out the Seascape Leisure Centre on site. The facility comprises a 25-metre lap pool, three temperature-controlled spas, sauna, gym, massage room and even a hairdressing salon.

Two-bedroom “Hamptons-inspired” cottage with a king-size bed in the main bedroom featuring an ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom features a queen with a set of bunks. This cottage boasts a washing machine and dryer, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, three smart TVs and is air-conditioned. There is a patio with a BBQ.

Tuscany Villas

Two-storey villas with three bedrooms and three bathrooms, king in main, queen and single bunks in second bedroom and two sets of single bunks in third bedroom. The air-conditioned villa is complete with spacious upstairs and downstairs living areas with a full kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, four TVs and a patio with a BBQ.
