• The outdoors is where it all begins. Take a relaxed ride with one-hour bicycle use for two adults, or explore at your own pace with unlimited access to the Discovery Centre, Forest Garden and Waterfall (excluding Nature Reserve activities).
• For younger travellers, the Cool Zone Kids Club (ages four and above) offers a fun, supervised space to play, create and make new friends, while a daily line-up of complimentary activities keeps everyone entertained.

A tour with the resort rangers will teach you the geography and the fascinating surroundings. The Stingless Bee tour provides education and awareness in relation to stingless bees in the reserve’s ecology.  If you are lucky, you can catch a glimpse of the forest friends, including the oriental pied hornbill, slow loris and mouse deer

Kids aged four and over can sign up as rangers and join the Junior Naturalist program to learn all about the flora and fauna of Borneo. Young explorers will also get a chance to contribute and assist the rangers as well as learn basic jungle survival skills.

From the flames of the charcoal grill, succulent roast from the brick oven to the concise wine list, Oceano Modern Grill’s cuisine features fresh local seafood, high quality meats created from imaginative combinations of ingredients and taste.

Enjoy all-day dining outdoors or indoors at the Coffee Terrace. International and local dishes are served with plenty of health-conscious menu selections and luscious tropical fruits.

Kozan Teppanyaki’s interiors echo a classical Japanese Teppanyaki restaurant, with an unconventional architectural design, giving it a modern edge. ‘Kozan’ means mountain in Japanese and is expressed in the logo as a symbol of Mount Kinabalu, South East Asia’s highest mountain and Sabah’s most recognizable icon.

Tepi Laut Makan Street captures the nostalgia of Malaysia’s heritage of street food stalls and open-fronted shop-house restaurants. Each food stall offers tempting flavours and a special glimpse into the cuisines of Asia. By day, this beachfront restaurant is a poolside bar offering Asian and western snacks, finger food and refreshing drinks. On certain days, staff perform the traditional dances of Sabah.

The Eighth is an oriental delight serving Chinese cuisine in a modern restaurant below the main lobby. An authentic Chinese menu with a modern twist gives diners an elevated dining experience.

Or you could enjoy breakfast with a view and hike up to the summit of the nature reserve to watch the sun rise of Mt. Kinabalu a UNESCO World Heritage site and chance to see the nocturnal animals that call the nature reserve home. On your hike down, you will have the opportunity to walk through the canopy walkway.
