Holidays with Kids shares everything you need to know for your air travel with tots in tow aboard xxxxx Airlines’ business class.
Business & first class lounges
Qantas lounges have fresh, delicious dining options, shower facilities and private work areas. Selected Australian lounges have the Joey Club. Special kids zones are equipped with dedicated iMac computers, kids’ furniture, toys and books allowing the little ones to play while mum and dad relax before the flight. Kids’ meals and refreshments are also available in some Joey Club zones.
Business & first class children’s amenities
Complimentary kids’ kits are available for children (3 to 6 years) onboard. The kits include an aircraft window shaped etch-a-sketch and activity booklet in a zip-lock bag.
All kids travelling on domestic and international flights, are welcomed onboard with a kit. On selected international flights, young travellers will also be offered Qantas’ exclusively designed Joey Club socks featuring Matilda the kangaroo.
Children aged between 2-11 pay 75% of the adult fare, with a maximum of two children per adult travelling. Infants under 2 who are not occupying a seat pay 10% of the adult fare.
Kids’ luggage allowance
The carry-on and checked baggage allowance for children is the same as adults.
Children travelling alone
Qantas allows children (5-15 years) to travel alone. An escort will meet them at customs and guide them to the aircraft. They will be checked on throughout the flight and escorted through immigration/baggage carousel upon arrival at their destination.
