3. Family Adventure Zone
Located at the base of Blackcomb Mountain is the Family Adventure Zone. This is where you will find plenty of fun activities for all ages, including Mario & Friends mini-golf, Kiss the Sky bungy trampoline, the Westcoaster Slide (a 315-metre track that winds its way down the mountain), guided scenic rides through the alpine meadows and Hot Wheelz electric go karts.
4. Peak 2 Peak Gondola
Be captivated by British Columbia’s natural beauty while enjoying 360-degree views on the Peak 2 Peak Gondola between Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains. Keep an eye out for wildlife, too; you may just spot an eagle, deer or a bear or two. The gondola holds the Guinness World Record for the highest cable car above ground and longest unsupported span between two cable car towers.
5. Look out for bears
Whistler is bear country so keep an eye out as they are active throughout summer, and you may just be lucky enough to spot one as you ride the Peak 2 Peak Gondola. Or if you are seeking a little more adventure take a sunrise 4WD guided bear tour. This is not only great fun, but so educational as you learn about the bears and this beautiful destination.
