1. Take a dip with humpbacks
Humpback whales are the gentle giants of the ocean, growing 15 to 16 metres long and up to a mammoth 30,000 kilograms in weight. They may be big, but you can swim right alongside them from June to October with the experts at Sunreef Mooloolaba safely guiding you through the experience (kids must be aged eight and over and supervised in the water by a parent).
