You can now hang out with Bluey and her sister Bingo on Disney cruise ships departing Australia and New Zealand and at Disneyland Resorts. Plus, Bluey gets a movie!
From 10 January 2025, Bluey and her sister Bingo will join Disney, Marvel, Pixar and Star Wars characters onboard select Disney Cruise Line sailings departing from Australia and New Zealand. Families can interact with Bluey and Bingo like never before with special meet-and-greets and an interactive clue-filled game that ends in a dance party featuring Bluey’s signature moves.
The Walt Disney Company announced the Bluey experiences will first be offered aboard Disney Wonder from January through to mid-February, ranging from two to six nights with available itineraries departing from Sydney and Melbourne, Australia. Disney Cruise Line will return to Australia and New Zealand for a new season of three to 10-night sailings from October 2025 to February 2026. From special character encounters and Broadway-style entertainment to imaginative dining experiences, the ships offer exclusive spaces for children to explore and create and for adults to unwind and relax. There is something for everyone during a Disney Cruise Line holiday.
Hot on the heels of opening Bluey’s World in Brisbane, The Walt Disney Company and BBC have joined forces to announce a Bluey film slated for release in 2027 AND Bluey activations and experiences launching at Disneyland Resorts and Walt Disney World Resorts in the US in the coming months. The blue heeler pup can currently be found at Disneyland Resort in California and Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.
Since its launch in 2018, Bluey has become an absolute legend, capturing the imaginations of families in Australia and across the globe. Created by Joe Brumm and brought to life by Ludo Studio, this Aussie gem is a collaborative effort between the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and BBC Studios Kids & Family.
If you’re outside Australia, New Zealand or China, you’re likely watching Bluey via Disney+, Disney Channel, or Disney Jr., thanks to a handy broadcasting deal between BBC Studios and Disney Branded Television. And here’s a fun fact: in 2024, Bluey is smashing it globally, topping the charts as the most-watched series on Disney+ – plus, it’s the #1 series on streaming in the U.S. for the year through November. Talk about a little blue powerhouse!
