180 day luxury cruise sells out in one day

Oceania Cruises Around the World in 180 days cruise has sold out in just one day.

Prices for the luxury cruise start at $86,270 and can go all the way up to a whopping $245,926.

More than one-third of the bookings came from first time, brand new to cruising guests.

Clearly, COVID hasn’t deterred people from cruising. Or this cruise is just far enough into the future to hope that the pandemic will be over.

“The response to our epic 2023 around the world voyage clearly illustrates the enthusiasm that experienced travellers have for immersive and memorable travel experiences,” Bob Binder, President and Chief Executive Officer of Oceania Cruises said.

Oceania’s cruise ship, Insignia caters for 684 guests and is billed as the “most extensive and in-depth of any world cruise available”.

The 180-day cruise starts in San Franciso on January 15, 2023. It will call into 96 ports in 33 countries across four continents.

The cruise spends three full days sailing around Antarctica with access to more than 60 Unesco World Heritage Sites.
