Bondi gets a family-friendly New Year’s Eve party in 2025

With a family-friendly zone, food trucks, fireworks and free tickets.

For the first time in more than ten years, Bondi Beach will host an official New Year’s Eve party. The event will feature two unique zones: an 18+ ticketed music festival, and a free family-friendly celebration designed to welcome locals, visitors and early festival goers.

The family-friendly zone will light up Bondi Beach with roaming performers, delicious food trucks and an early 9pm fireworks display, which is perfect for kids who can’t stay up until midnight. New Year’s Eve returns to Bondi Beach

The return of New Year’s Eve Bondi is being created with the local community in mind. Organisers are planning to showcase local performers, partner with nearby businesses and support local charities. It’s a chance for families to enjoy the magic of New Year’s Eve outside the hustle and bustle of the city, right on Sydney’s most famous shoreline.

The celebration is being brought to life by Fuzzy, the team behind some of Australia’s biggest festivals, such as Harbourlife, Field Day and Listen Out Presents. They’ve promised a next-level experience to welcome 2026, with up to 15,000 people expected to join in across both the festival and the family-friendly zone.
