It’s not often that you find a hotel room designed with families in mind. Some hotels have family suites with themed decorations. But it can be hard to find a theme that everyone likes. The rooms are really age dependant. And, to be honest, it’s also overwhelming for adults to have to sleep staring at Hello Kitty. 

Now the Park Plaza London Riverbank claims to have designed the “ultimate family suite”.

So what makes it so confident of that bold claim?

For starters, it has two rooms – one for the kids and one for the adults. You’re already winning with that. Hello, privacy.

The kids room

Little guests staying Park Plaza London Riverbank family suite can request a theme of their choosing. That could be anything from superheroes to dinosaurs to fashion.

The hotel partnered with UK kids’ bedroom retailer Room To Grow for the project. They enlisted the help of both adults and children to come up with a dreamy suite that can change aesthetics easily.

Park Plaza London Riverbank hotel says the room has a bunk bed and a single bed plus loads of fun interactive surprises for children to discover. The kids can draw on the chalkboard and the hotel has stacks of games and toys to keep the kids busy. They will also have their own TV and loads of bean bags and cushions. 

One of the best things about this suite is that the children have their own bathroom. And they will have kid-friendly bath products to use.

For the grown-ups

Meanwhile, the adults have their own elegant “non-themed” space to relax and switch off. 

The family suite’s master bedroom has a double bed, an ensuite and extra treats such as a drinks trolley for a nightcap once the kids have finally gone to sleep.

The adults’ room also has a TV so you don’t have to share (or fight) with the kids.

Families who book the Ultimate Family Suite will also have access to a personal concierge service.

The concierge can help to plan your trip to London, find places to eat and have your favourite snacks delivered to your room.
