Where is Port Douglas?
Port Douglas is located in Tropical North Queensland, around 70 kilometres north of Cairns on Australia’s Coral Sea coast. The quickest and easiest way to get there is to fly into Cairns Airport, which has direct flights from major Australian cities. Then, visitors will need to drive one hour to Port Douglas. As there is no direct public transport, families will need to arrange private transfers or hotel shuttles if they don’t drive.
