Scoot slings a Spider-Man collaboration

Singapore Airlines’ low-cost carrier Scoot has got our spidey senses tingling, teaming up with Sony Pictures for a Spider-Man: Brand New Day takeover. In parallel with the new movie’s release, two Scoot aircraft – an A321neo and a 787 Dreamliner – have been given the full web-slinger treatment, with decals, headrest covers and the movie score soundtracking boarding and disembarkation.

Lucky passengers are gifted a flight tag or foldable eco bag when buying an onboard snack (such as budget airline staple Pringles), while Singapore’s Changi Terminal 1 offers augmented reality Spidey photo-ops at check-in. With the promo running until 13 September and touching down at airports in Australia, China, Japan, the Philippines and Thailand, this is one collaboration where even bystanders might accidentally wind up in the thick of the action – in July, we’ve seen spandex-costumed Spider–men surprising travellers at Scoot check-in counters to tease the campaign. Where to book a Spideyfied flight?
