New research from Food Box Mate, Australia’s independent food and lifestyle research platform, has revealed the most-loved picnic spots across New South Wales this summer, with Lake Alexandra Reserve in Mittagong topping the list. The study filtered all NSW outdoor recreation areas with more than 100 public reviews, identifying locations that mentioned ‘picnic’ most often and rating them by satisfaction and consistency. Analysing over 725,000 reviews from more than 16,000 sites, it highlights the state’s favourite lakes, gardens and green escapes.
