The largest marine life theme park in the world opened on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi in May 2023. Developed in conjunction with immersive attractions company, Miral, SeaWorld Yas Island is a sprawling indoor complex spread across five levels and 183,000 square metres. The breathtaking theme park provides visitors with eight different ‘realms’ to explore; Abu Dhabi Ocean, One Ocean, Micro Ocean, Endless Ocean, Tropical Ocean, Rocky Point, and the Arctic and Antarctica Realms of Polar Ocean. Each realm features up-close animal encounters, thrilling rides, inspiring entertainment, and a plethora of dining and shopping experiences.

Is SeaWorld Abu Dhabi open?

SeaWorld is the first marine life theme park to open in the UAE and is located right next door to the region’s first marine rescue and rehabilitation centre, Yas SeaWorld Research & Rescue. Naturally, SeaWorld and its enclosures have been designed by leading animal care specialists, scientists and engineers, using cutting-edge technologies and a welfare-focused approach to emulate natural environments for more than 100,000 marine animals. Guests can even observe veterinarians and animal care experts at work in the One Ocean realm.

The result is a stunning immersive experience that will delight both young and old guests, alike. In fact, the Endless Ocean realm is reported to be the world’s largest and most expansive multi-species aquarium. Containing more than 25 million litres of water, the aquarium is home to more than 68,000 marine animals, including sharks, fish, manta rays and sea turtles.

How much does it cost to visit SeaWorld Abu Dhabi?

A one day general admission ticket to SeaWorld Yas Island will cost AED 375 (AUD$156) per adult, and AED 290 (AUD$120) per child.
