First look at Universal’s terrifying new Jurassic World VelociCoaster

Universal Studios Florida has released new photographs and video of the Jurassic World VelociCoaster.  

The thrilling ride will be Florida’s fastest and tallest rollercoaster when it opens on June 10.

Riders will reach heights of 47m at speeds of 112 kilometres per hour.

Universal Studios Florida shared a teaser video of the Jurassic World VelociCoaster and it’s not for the faint-hearted. 

The rollercoaster will undertake a barrel roll over the theme park’s lagoon and it has an 80-degree drop.

Universal Studios Florida

The Jurrasic World VelociCoaster is at Universal Studios Islands of Adventure theme park in Orlando Florida. 

This is the largest Universal Studios theme park. It’s comprised of two theme parks: Universal Studios Florida and Universal Universal Studios Islands of Adventure theme park and one water park (Volcano Bay).

Tickets to the theme parks cost around $US109 per day. Volcano Bay will set you back around $US80.

You can often find three or two park deals online or book a package with your Florida accommodation.

Getting there

International borders are currently closed. However, when they do open, you can get to Orlando Florida via Los Angeles, Houston Texas, San Francisco or Hawaii.
